Drop Point

The Drop point is the classic all around hunting knife pattern tracing its profile back to prehistoric stone knives. All of history can claim the drop point, the curving spine that that meets the cutting edge below the line of the handle offers a controllable tip for fine work. The generous curved belly is where most of your cutting action happens, providing plenty of surface area for slicing through hide, muscle, and fat. In my opinion the drop point is the best compromise for an all purpose hunting knife.
